The benefits of being a member of the Illinois Association of Historic Preservation Commissions include:

• A subscription to The Commissioner, a quarterly newsletter that providing local, state and federal preservation news.
• Access to the resource Library, a collection of materials pertinent to the endeavors of historic preservation commissions.
• Discounts on the Community Preservation Series, handbooks that focus on specific preservation issues.
• Workshops designed specifically for historic preservation commissions and staff.

Active membership is open to all authorized historic preservation commissions for $50 a year. Membership is not limited to preservation commissions.

Associate membership is available to any group or individual interested in historic preservation commissions activities for $15.
